In the anterior supraesophageal zone (SPZ) it arborizes in the superior medial protocerebrum (SMP) and the medial lobes and spurs of the mushroom bodies (Selcho et al., 2018. Fibers project along both medial antennal lobe tracts and symmetrically innervate the inferior bridge, inferior clamp, superior clamp, superior posterior slope, posterior lateral protocerebrum, SMP, and superior lateral protocerebrum (Selcho et al., 2018.
