The peripodial epithelium in the dorsal compartment of the eye disc. It is separated from the ventral peripodial epithelium by the Bolwig nerve (McClure and Schubiger, 2005 and plays a role in the establishment of the dorsoventral boundary of the eye disc (Atkins and Mardon, 2009. (McClure and Schubiger, 2005, Atkins and Mardon, 2009)
