LNO2 [FBbt_00051251]

Adult neuron that mainly receives input in the ipsilateral lateral accessory lobe, with some extensions into the neighboring wedge and ventromedial neuropils (Hulse et al., 2021). It has its presynaptic sites in ipsilateral nodulus 2 (Hulse et al., 2021). There is one of these cells per hemisphere and it develops from the BAMv1 (LALv1) neuroblast (Kandimalla et al., 2023). It is glutamatergic (Lu et al., 2022).
