Neuron innervating the twin sensillum of margin 1. This neuron, which begins axonogenesis 1hr AP, pioneers the segment of nerve L1 which joins the L3 bundle (Murray et al., 1984). It innervates the more distal of the pair of twin sensilla (Dickinson and Palka, 1987). It has a prominent large-caliber axon in the marginal nerve (Corty et al., 2022).
